1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the ClevaSpace mobile application. It covers the information handled when you scan accessible storage, browse categories, review possible duplicate or large items, and confirm an action. It does not cover Android, Google Play, or any app that receives a file from you.
2. Information ClevaSpace handles
When you give the relevant Android permission and request a storage feature, the app may process file and folder names, paths, extensions, sizes, modified dates, and category information. It may read limited file content or a preview only when you ask to inspect, open, share, or manage an item.
Local settings, scan exclusions, and selections may be retained to support the workflow. ClevaSpace does not intentionally collect contacts, messages, precise location, microphone recordings, camera captures, or file contents for a remote developer database.
3. Purpose of processing
The information available to ClevaSpace is used to show storage categories, prepare file lists, present details, identify possible duplicates or large items, remember your local preferences, and carry out actions you confirm. We do not use your file information to sell data or build an advertising profile.
4. Your file choices
ClevaSpace waits for your selection and confirmation before carrying out a file operation. Opening or sharing an item sends it to the destination you choose, which then controls its processing. Check the items shown before confirming a deletion because content removed from storage may not be recoverable.
5. Local data and device backup
Preferences and temporary review results may be stored in local app data. They are not intended to be transmitted to a developer-controlled server. Clearing app data or uninstalling ClevaSpace generally removes those local records. Android backup, transfer, or restore may copy app data according to your platform settings.
Files managed through the app remain in the device locations controlled by Android until you move or delete them.
6. Third parties
We do not intentionally share file metadata, scan results, or file contents with advertisers or data brokers. Android may process information when you grant permissions or use file-picker, share, backup, or restore functions. Google Play may process information needed for distribution, security, diagnostics, and account management under Google's policies.
If an optional cloud, analytics, advertising, or online feature is added later, this policy will be updated with its relevant disclosures before that feature processes information.
7. Security and retention
Local review reduces the need to transfer storage information, but no app or device can be completely secure. Protect your device with a lock, keep Android updated, and review permissions. Local preferences and temporary results remain until you remove them, clear the app, or uninstall it, subject to platform backup behavior.
8. Children
ClevaSpace is a general storage-management tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. For concerns, contact us through the support contact listed on the ClevaSpace Google Play page.
9. Choices and rights
You can control Android permissions, choose storage areas to review, decline an operation, clear local app data, or uninstall the app. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information. Use the developer support contact displayed on the app's Google Play listing to submit a request. We may verify the request and respond as required by applicable law.
10. Changes and contact
We may revise this policy when ClevaSpace or applicable requirements change. The current version will show its latest update date on this page. Please omit private file contents unless they are necessary to explain the request.
